What is the Cornhole Board Level Accessory?
The Cornhole Board Level Accessory is a new and patented invention created by CornStars LLC for the Cornhole Industry. It was designed to help players of all levels get consistency with their Cornhole game. If the board is not level or inconsistent with standard ACL Pro specs, it may throw off your game. Too steep and the bags will stop prematurely. Too flat and your bags will fly off the back. Side to side means your bags will move towards the lower direction. The Cornhole level is the only tool designed to address these issues. Here are a few features of the Cornhole Level:
- Small enough to take with you anywhere
- Works on ALL cornhole boards
- Instantly check any board for Pitch (front to back) or Roll (left to right), indoors or outdoors
- Simply use on any corn hole board to instantly and accurately check the cornhole board for consistent play
- Durable enough to throw in your bag
- Tether in front for assisting in checking distance
- Set your string and (2) ‘S’ Hooks for 32’8″ and with the Cornhole Board Levels in the holes, with the string taught, you have set your Board to Board Cornhole distance at 27′.
What is Pitch, Roll and Distance?
Pitch is the front to back angle of the cornhole board. If the board is too steep, the bag will not slide as expected and possibly stop prematurely. Roll is the side to side angle of the board. If the board leans left or right, the cornhole bag will have a tendency of sliding in the direction that is lower. Click for the CornStars Official Term / Definition of Roll.

Why are there 2 levels in the package?
2 boards. 2 levels. What else can we say? Also, if you provide your own hooks + string set at 32’8″, a single person can not only level both boards but also set the regulation distance by themselves!

I have the level and the boards are off. Now what?
We designed the level to indicate the offset in both Pitch (Front to Back angle) and Roll (Side to Side angle).
- If in the sand, that is the easiest of the options….
- Simply press firmly on the high sides to level the board.
- If on grass, there are a few options…
- Remove some dirt / grass on the high side to level the board.

Is the Cornhole Board Level Accessory made out of wood?
The Cornhole Board Level Accessory is NOT made out of wood for durability. If the level was made out of wood and left outside, wood has a tendency of swelling and altering the level so once it gets wet or left outside, it will lose its’ reliability. The CornStars LLC board level accessory is made to last and therefore can be left outside.
I bought a set of boards with the bubble level built in...why do I need the Cornhole Level?
First, congratulations on your purchase. I hope the cornhole boards serve you well. We feel you can still use the Cornhole Level. Your expensive cornhole boards have the level in front or back and on the side. While making adjustments, I think you can only see one level at a time so when you make an adjustment you have to check the other side as well. The Cornhole Board Level Accessory allows you to see both angles at the same time and you can simply pick it up and move to the next set of boards you want to level. We feel our cost effective cornhole device is a must for every cornhole player to ensure consistency in your game.
