Cornhole Level – Instructions – How to use the accessory
Welcome, you have come to the right place if you are looking for instructions on how to use the Cornhole Level Accessory. Here we take pride in making sure that wherever you play, you are playing on straight and level boards so you don’t have to alter your throw if the boards are pitched or not level!
How To Use The Cornhole Level
The Cornhole Level is very easy to use. All you need to do is place the device in the proper location on the board and then make adjustments to the board based on the indicator on the level. Here is a basic guideline on how to use The Cornhole Level.
Where to Place The Cornhole Level On The Board
Along The Back of The Cornhole Board
Slide the CHL anywhere along the back of the board to measure both Pitch and Roll. The CHL device will show you how many degrees off level you are in any direction.
In The Cornhole Board Hole
Place the device in the hole to also measure both Pitch and Roll.
How To Read The Bubble Indicator on The Cornhole Level
As the Cornhole board goes off level in either the Pitch (front/back) or Roll (left / right), the bubble level will move accordingly. Fix the board so that the bubble is in the middle of the level crosshairs. This indication will ensure you are playing on a level cornhole board.
The Adjustment You Should Make Based On The Location Of The Bubble
If The Bubble Is Left/Right of Center
This indication means that the board is leaning too much to the left or right. You will need to adjust one of the legs until the bubble is in the center of the horizontal line.
If The Bubble is Above/Below Center
This indication means that the board is leaning backward or forward too much. Adjust the legs until the bubble is in the center of the vertical line.
If The Bubble Is In The Center of The Crosshairs
You’re ready to play, have fun! Don’t forget to repeat the process every time before you play. This will ensure the boards are up to regulation every time.

Setting the 27′ Board to Board Distance
To set the distance of your cornhole boards, you will need (2) S-Hooks and string. Simply tie the string to the S-Hooks and set the end to end distance of the S-Hooks to 32’8″. Once complete, simply place a Cornhole Level in each Cornhole Board hole and connect each S-Hook to the front of the Cornhole Levels’ tether. Pull the boards until the rope or string is taught or does not sag. That is it, you just set the corn hole board to board distance using the Cornhole Level.
